Got Cancer Killers?
Today in my email I received a great article called "Got Cancer Killers?" We all have heard how important it is to breastfeed your baby, the doctors say it is best for them. Now breastfeeding has an even bigger incentive. According to the scientist in this article when breast milk was combined with human cancer cells in another experiment, the cancer cells started committing suicide. The only problem with this finding is that it was not found in an NIC professional lab, so the scientists are having a bit of trouble proving this to other scientists. The article is 3 pages long, and the best thing I think is that if this goes through, they might have found a cure to cancer, and oddly enough we have had it all along.

Mops Mothers of Preschoolers
This post is specifically for mothers of kids ages 0-5 years old. There is an organization called MOPS (moms of preschoolers) and it is international. They have periodic meetings, where often there is childcare so that moms can spend some time together going over topics relative to moms. Unfortunately the meetings are held during the week, but contact your local mops group to see if you can get a meeting together for moms who may have full time jobs.
I have been a part of mops for almost 2 years and love it, it gives you the opportunity to find other kids your kids ages and set up play dates, plus you can meet moms just like you, and make new friends with common interests, such as your children. Check this site for local chapters MOPS

Everyone gets to decide if they want a home birth, hospital birth, birthing center birth, etc. You have to make the best decision for you and your baby.
